Andrew Bard Epstein

I'm a political strategist, communications director and digital producer who works with candidates and campaigns that challenge concentrated power and win for the working class.

I was Communications Director, Spokesperson and later Creative Director for Zohran Mamdani's campaign for New York City Mayor. I previously served as Chief of Staff to NYS Assemblywoman Emily Gallagher and managed her first campaign for office. Most recently, I led communications for Claire Valdez for Congress. According to City & State, I'm one of the 100 most influential people in New York politics.

I've worked in newsrooms, bars, and used to give walking tours of New York City. A graduate of SUNY-Binghamton, I also hold advanced degrees in history from Yale and the the University of Georgia, where I also worked as a graduate teacher. 

I have no public social media but I do make media appearances and am regularly quoted in stories about politics, democratic socialism and digital strategy. You can find those links here.
